Eagle Launcher
The Colt Canada EAGLE is a single-shot, 40mm low-velocity grenade launcher that functions either as a standalone weapon or as an under-barrel rifle attachment.
Progressively evolved through extended technical firing and operator testing, EAGLE is capable of firing all 40x46mm Low Velocity ammunition and can be mounted on any weapon (including C8/M4, C7/M16 series) with a standard MIL-STD bottom mounting rail. For maximum operational flexibility, EAGLE can be converted rapidly for use as a standalone shoulder-fired weapon with buttstock.
The launcher’s uniquely ambidextrous design allows the operator to readily reconfigure the side-opening feed, sight mounting and sling attachment to either the left or right side, without requiring any special tools.
EAGLE’s design also features a double-action trigger that re-strikes misfired cartridges without having to open the breech to re-cock the firing mechanism.
