Corporation has an immediate need for a full-time I.T. Network
Administrator.
Responsibilities will include:
-
Provide IT technical support for entire network infrastructure
-
Troubleshoot hardware failures, issues and performance bottlenecks
- Deploy
and maintain user workstations, printers, and other computer related
hardware
- Manage
other office equipment including photocopiers and VOIP phone systems
- Create
and maintain documentation for hardware and network infrastructure
-
Provide insight and recommendations for ongoing system requirements
and upgrades
- Assist
with procurement of hardware and software as required
-
Effective communication with users and vendors related to hardware
and network systems
- Ensure
SOX compliance and adherence to company IT policies and procedures
-
Provide assistance to IT Specialist as needed on ERP projects,
upgrades and reporting
- Other
duties as required by the Controller
The
successful candidate would possess Excellent knowledge of DHCP, FTP,
SNMP, VPN, LDAP and SMTP; knowledge of disaster recovery and business
continuity planning; proven track record of delivering results and
commitment to operational excellence; effective problem solving,
analytical skills and attention to detail; the ability to research and
organize the purchase of computer equipment and services; be able to
take initiative and work well independently; along with strong
inter-personal and communication skills.
Educational
requirements:

Post-secondary level education in Computer Science or Computer
Systems Technology
- Comp
TIA A+ or MCSE certification
